A new landscape for the entire grounds was created that included unifying courtyard designs, parking/street landscaping and tree preservation plans. We also observed the construction of the projects. A Temple Site Management Plan (TSMP) was prepared, which is a written plan for proper maintenance of the temples. The plan instructs maintenance personnel on the intended look of each temple site and proper maintenance techniques. It provides a single source for instruction, as–built documents, schedules and costs. This process includes inventorying all existing landscape features including plant material, irrigation, water features, site furnishings, exterior lighting, hardscape surfaces and site drainage. Upon completion of the TSMP, proposed changes and modification to the existing landscape and irrigation system were provided. Cost estimates were provided for the proposed construction and a schedule of tasks was planned.
